These terms cover the RAD SPACE app and the website spaceisrad.com. By using either, you agree to them. If you are under 18, please read them with a parent, guardian or teacher. Purchases in the iOS app are also covered by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
The RAD SPACE name and logo, and everything we made for it, belong to Rozzi Labs: the written briefings, facts and quiz questions, the pixel art, 3D models and animations, the characters (including Commander Vega, PULSAR and THE ARCHIVIST), the sounds we generated, the design and layout, and the software. RAD SPACE™, R.A.D. SPACE™ and Space Is RAD™ are trademarks of Rozzi Labs.
A lot of the science comes from people who share it with the world, and we credit them:
Those materials keep their own licenses. Nothing in these terms limits what those licenses allow. RAD SPACE is not affiliated with or endorsed by NASA or any agency named here.
Want to do something not listed? Ask us; we often say yes, especially for education.
The Space Camp membership and other purchases are bought in the RAD SPACE iOS app and handled by Apple under the App Store's terms. Billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds are managed by Apple in your Apple account settings. If you sign in to spaceisrad.com with the same Apple account, your membership unlocks there too. We may add, change or retire features over time; we will not take away something you have already paid for during a paid period without a fair replacement or refund path through Apple.
There is nowhere in RAD SPACE to type a message or post anything. Callsigns, avatars and squads are chosen from lists we wrote, and squads show only team totals. If you write to us by email or the contact form, you let us use what you sent to reply and to improve RAD SPACE.
RAD SPACE is built for classrooms and young learners. It has no ads, no tracking and no chat, and it works without an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what is stored and how to delete it.
RAD SPACE is an educational product. We work hard to keep the facts accurate and cite our sources, but science changes: moon counts rise, missions launch late, and numbers get refined. Pictures, maps and models are illustrations and are marked "illustrative / not to scale". Do not use RAD SPACE for navigation, safety or any decision where an error could cause harm. Sky positions, satellite passes and launch times are predictions and may be wrong. If you spot an error, please tell us.
RAD SPACE is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error free or right for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, Rozzi Labs will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses from using RAD SPACE, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for RAD SPACE in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
News stories and some images come from other websites. Those sites have their own terms and we are not responsible for them.
If these terms change, we will update the date at the top. If you keep using RAD SPACE after that, the new terms apply.
